Frame shapes may be imported using a flat bed scanner. Once in the scanner module the shape may be used for accurate uncut size determination (pricing is based on uncut size) and for prism by decentration calculations. The digitized shape may be transmitted for minimum substance uncut production. A shape library facility is available.

The Paperless office is a possibility with papercapture. Papercapture can scan any document, categorize and attach the image to the individual patient record.
