SDS professional services is in a unique position of computerizing optical operations in Europe and the USA. Starting in 1989 with small independent practices then Specsavers (350 stores) in the mid nineties with a custom developed practice management system.

This was followed by an extremely successful rollout to Boots Opticians (300+ stores) with a combination of SDS off-the-shelf software and custom development. In the early 2000’s, SDS had successful rollouts in the USA for Empire Vision Centers (60+ stores) and Henry Ford Optimeyes (30+ stores). We are currently in the process of rolling out to a major Health Care HMO whose health care practices are spread across the United States. The US software includes our 3rd party insurance plan interface.

SDS team members are proficient in, Citrix, Win2000 and NT server setups and configurations, Network installations, Custom Development (Bespoke), Web Development, Business Process Improvement, Major Project management, data conversion and rollout services.
